Solarpanel mounted!

The new solarpanel (150 Watt connected to new solar regulator) is mounted on a new frame. The old panel was welded to the roof top: so much fun to cut it off :(
The new one looks realy good.

Big thanks to Johann for all his help and his patience.

 

It was my first panel and felt really good to look on the ammeter when the first sun beams came out this morning.

 

Counting down the days 'til departure .. still more work coming in

Further Visa are coming in, cupboards in our house are being emptied and are finished in our mobile home and ... solar panel reached end of life and needs to be replaced :(

Preparations are progressing ...

Susanne does an awesome job in sorting out all the administration stuff (insurance, visa, china permission, ...)
I managed to build some cupboards for school material and finally Paul has also a bed.

During the day it can be folded up to the wall

 
Today I ordered a diesel heater to save propane for cooking including an altidude control unit so it'll also work beyond 1500m . Looking forward to the installation - I've never done that before ;)
