3rd week: Istanbul, Stuck in the Sand@midnight, Safranbolu, Chilling @ Turkish Coast of the Black Sea

Our ıttınary
[Susanne] Slowly slowly we are getting into the travelers modus. It is a kind of metamorphosis, from “I need a shower every day and a new shirt” to “Wow, 3 liters of semi-warm water are enough to make me feel clean!” J
I am writing this right after sunset while listening to a Turkish traditional band playing for a wedding at Çakrazat the Black Sea.
Since our last post we have been travelling from Bulgaria to Turkey. On the Bulgarian side we passed beautiful bay of Sozopol(staying in yacht harbor; Emma was admired just as the million-dollar-boats ;)) and the Natural Park ‘Strandzha’that used to be the former green line of the Ostblock wıth ıts tragıc past and present (check also our Trip-Story No.2: Crossing the Borders of the former Iron Curtain).

1st Trip-Story: has been posted

Hi all,
Since we are now on the road for the first weeks, it's now time to start with our trip stories. As requested from some of you I start with our endeavour of How to find someone for welding a protection to our diesel fuel repositories (Trip-Story No. 1) For us it became an unforgetable experience. Hope you enjoy the reading.

Cheers

Torsten

Antonia 1st blog post

2nd week: Transsilvania, Carpathian Mountains, Black Sea, Arriving at European Borders

as of now I try to put a map at the beginning of each post
(I also added one for the 1st week)
We are at the Black Sea! Warm like a bathtub the kids love it. We will go along this sea the next three weeks.

Last week started with a high-school visit in the East-Hungarian province capital Kecskemét. Robert teaches German at this school for secondary grade. He shows us around and introduces us to some school traditions. One of these traditions can be seen in the hallways: at every wall and corner hang huge class pictures of every graduated class since the 50ties, including pictures of their teachers. And since Robert already teaches quite some years we admire his I-am-a-serious-teacher-in-suit-pictures on many class memories.

1st week: Point Alpha, Hase's outbreak & new home, family-good-bye, Danubia, enjoying Puszta

The long preparation time is over! We are finally on the road! We are writing this in southern Hungary, in hot Puszta at Klaras and Roberts house, where we are staying for a couple of days. With a delay of 2 days (due to an extra tour to Leuven) we were warmly sent on our trip by Kristin & Benny (thank you so much for taking the time) the morning of Tuesday 7th of July.
